It is with sincere affection that we offer up our intentions and prayers for Tessie Reiter. We knew her to be a devout Catholic, hard worker, willing volunteer, and avid baker whose long life is deserving of recognition and remembrance. On behalf of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary of the Logsdon Walla Post 639 in Toledo Ohio and its members, may the perpetual light shine upon this member who is so deserving.

I would like to extend my condolences to Tess's family. Tess was a lovely woman and a dear friend. I enjoyed playing Kings in the Corner with her at The Lakewoods for several years.
May the peace and love she experiences now in the arms of Our Heavenly Father overflow into your hearts!
Rest in peace dear friend!

My deepest condolences to Judy, Margie and the rest of the family. Tessie was very much a part of my younger days as were Margie and Judy, especially Margie. Living across the street I spent a lot of time there and Tessie was always so very nice to me. Even after they moved she would come to get me to spend a few days at a time with my bestie Margie. I have many fond memories of my times with The Reiter family. Tessie was a very special lady and is surely now one of God's special Angels.

Dear Judy and family, My Mom, Felicia, was at Franciscan Care Ctr and passed away in November 2016. I still visit there quite often and have made many friends of the residents there. A few are from my old neighborhood in the Nebraska Ave area. One day when I was going down the hall I saw a name that sounded very familiar, Theresa Reiter. I went in to visit her and asked her if she had been known as Tessie. She said she was and I told her how I had a good friend from my old neighborhood that I had gone to St. Anthony's School with named Judy. We talked a bit about the good old days. I had stopped in her room to visit and brought her some Polish coffee cake and angel wings. I like to take the treats that represent my childhood to the Polish ladies at FCC. I had written my phone no. on a piece of note paper and asked you Mom to give to you. I want to tell you and your family that your Mom is as beautiful as I remembered. I remember your Dad, your sister and your grandparents that lived with you when we were children. Seeing your Mom brought back a bunch of my happiest memories. I send you my most sincere sympathy and know you have many, many wonderful memories of her. I know with Mother's Day coming this Sunday we will use these memories of our loving Mothers to fill the void that is there now. May God bless you and your family and heal your broken hearts. I am so blessed to have had a chance to visit with your Mom. May she rest in the peace and glory of all of the departed souls.
