Ralph J. Nowak, age 85, of Toledo, passed away on October 5, 2017.  He was born on August 20, 1932 to Harry and Dorothy (Kujawa) Nowak in Toledo.  Ralph worked as a tool and die maker for Doehler Jarvis, retiring after 47 dedicated years.  Throughout the years, Ralph also worked part time at Ohio Skate where he loved to roller skate.  He was an avid Ohio State fan and enjoyed fishing, eating delicious food, and watching TV especially Star Trek, old time westerns and war documentaries.  However his first passion came from the time he spent with his loving wife followed by the role he was most proud of, as a devoted father and the many adventures he enjoyed with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Rita (Operacz); children, Debbie (Steve) Doak, Mike Nowak, Mark (Kim) Nowak, Karen (Tom) Miller, Ken Nowak, Kathleen (Don) Richlen and Matthew Nowak; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
   Family and friends may visit at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., on Monday from 3-8p.m. with vigil services at 7:00p.m.   Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 with a prayer service in the mortuary at 9:30a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00a.m.   Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial tributes may be directed to Ebeid Hospice.
