James Chambers Obituary


James A. Chambers, 46, of Swanton, passed away on June 24, 2022. He was born on December 14, 1975 to Raymond and DyAnn (LaCross) Chambers in Toledo. Jim worked as a robot programmer for Hammill Medical for over 25 years. He was a member of the Fulton and Ottawa County Sportsman Club, and he also was a competition shooter at Camp Perry in his younger years. Jim greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing with his family and friends. He also was a Dungeons & Dragons ‘nerd’ and an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Red Wings, and Toledo Walleye. Jim will always be remembered as the "Cool Uncle" as he loved and cherished all of his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and loved to watch them grow. 
  Jim was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Kayleigh Chambers; great nephew, Chance Hartsfield; and his favorite feline, Vinny. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Kelly (Bugbee) Chambers; sisters, Ellen (Izzy) Chambers-Saar and Karena (Priscilla Soto) Chambers; nieces and nephews: Alexis (Scott) Ankney; Lucas (Anjelica) Chambers, Brandon Bugbee, Karissa (Martin) Hartsfield, Haylee Bugbee, Brittany Bugbee and Nate Bugbee;  great nieces and nephews: Mia, Kane, Noah, Kennedy, Charlie, Parker, Harper, Preston, Paisley, Primrose, Skylar, Camden and Victoria Rose; felines, Victoria and Puppet; and extended family and friends.

  In keeping with James’ wishes, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
