Born December 4, 1927, Patricia passed away quietly at home on April 17th, 2020 and is now reunited with her husband Eugene, parents, and dearest friends (especially her Aunt Martha).

Our Mother was the warmest, kindest, most giving woman we have had the pleasure to know.  She was always there for her family and friends, selflessly doing and giving in whatever way was needed.

Mom was a fanatical Notre Dame Fighting Irish football fan spending many late nights watching the games – win or lose.

Surviving are her family, son Philip (wife Joyce), daughter Joyce, grandson James, granddaughter Jennifer, great grandson Logan, and great granddaughter Raelin, brother Jerry Zawodny (Charlotte).

She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, dear friend, and travel and shopping buddy who will be dearly missed.  Remember her beautiful spirit, keep her in your heart, and remember to live life to the fullest as Pat did.

Donations may be made in Patricia’s name to Vitas Hospice 7406 Fullerton St. Suite 105, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

Joyce & Phil,
I am so sorry for the passing of your Mom. I know these words are inadequate to ease the loss you feel for such a wonderful lady, but I hope your memories will sustain you for now. It has been many years since I spent time with your Mom, but my memories of growing up with her in my life are ones of a patient, loving, insightful woman who understood us when we didn’t understand ourselves! I also remember her fun, adventurous, & spunky side from vacations I spent with your family. Great memories! Rest in peace wonderful Lady! You may not know all the hearts & minds you have touched, but be assured you have touched mine and I thank you! Linda & John Carey
