DAVID WALTER MAJCHROWSKI
9/30/1953—9/27/2019
    David W. Majchrowski passed away peacefully in his sleep. David AKA Red Bud loved life and the lord.
    He was preceded in death by his father and mother Walter and Bernice (Skippy) Majchrowski his brother Mark (Moe)and his sister Claudia Culbertson. He was a lifetime resident of Toledo, Ohio. He served his community working for the City of Toledo Grounds Department. In his younger years he owned a bar in the heart of Toledo, The Allstar Lounge.  
    Red enjoyed all sports. He played pool, darts and softball in leagues around the area for years until he could no longer work or play. He played on a softball team that received the national title in 1985 with the Wolverine-Buckeye softball team. David was voted MVP of that tournament. He was an dedicated fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Pittsburgh Steelers!
    He contracted a serious blood disease that crippled him and confined him to a wheelchair. His white blood cells were taking over his body. He had many ailments throughout his 9 years of suffering.  
    David is survived by his daughter Caroline Weissenberg and his grandson Sullivan, his Nephew/Godson Christopher(Stacy) Culbertson, nieces Jennifer Creps, Audrey(Terry) Jernigan, cousin Judy And many great nieces and nephews. Special mention best friend James Brown, Linda Herman his special girl Alexa Randolf that always made him smile and laugh. And his life long partner Jan Ralston.
    Due to unforeseen circumstances, David's medical bills and life insurance policy has gone unpaid for. A benefit has been sponsored by: HomeBoys Bar and Grille – 502 Main St – Toledo, Ohio 43605.
    The benefit will take place Friday, October 11, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. We are asking for donations to help give out beloved friend the send off that he truly deserves. Donations can be made to Celia Ramirez at 419-408-4060.
    Family and friends may visit at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Graveside at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 Central Ave., on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. With Fr. Greg Peatee officiating.
