Rose Urban, 94, resident of Dunedin, Florida, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Mease Countryside Hospital near her home.  Rose was born in Toledo, Ohio, where she met and married Stephen Urban, her husband of 67 years.  They moved to Florida from Chicago thirty-five years ago.  Always regarded as a great lady by friends and acquaintances, Rose touched many lives.  Active in the National Council of Catholic Women, she served as a past president of its Women's Guild at the Light of Christ Catholic Church in Clearwater, FL, where she also served as a lector.   Rose enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, and in recent years was an avid bridge player.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by her nephew, Donald Kress, and her niece, Kathleen Hamilton, both of Toledo, and their children.  She was greatly admired and loved by her family and will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may visit at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m., with the graveside service at Calvary Cemetery.

Aunt Rose was such a warm and loving person. She was so fortunate to have a loving family that supported her after the loss of Uncle Steve, and also, throughout their lives. She truly adored you, Kathy, and your family. Don, you were dear to her heart also, as anyone could tell, as she proudly spoke of both of your families. May she rest in peace.
Love,
Polly and David Straub

Aunt Rose,
Uncle Steve is waiting for you at the gates of heaven. You two had shared 67 wonderful years together. Now through the grace of God you have been reunited for all of eternity. God bless you both.
