Angeline Helen Smithhisler, age 83, passed away on Saturday April 14, 2012. Angeline was born June 12, 1928 in Toledo, the daughter of Joseph and Tilly (Kwiatkowski) Swiczkowski. Angie cared for her home and family and was very accomplished at crafts and crocheting. She enjoyed bird watching, playing cards and socializing with her friends. She cherished most the time spent with her family.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Allen J., her sister Jennifer and brothers Stephen, Raymond, Melvin, Tony, Stan, Eddie, Ted, Walter and Joseph Swiczkowski Jr. She is survived by her daughters Nancy Bowman and Janette (Jerry) Jenkins; sons Michael (Marilyn) and Donald; sisters Agnes Swiczkowski and Frances Lisenbee; brothers Donald and Chester Swiczkowski; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where a Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the mortuary on Friday at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Sylvania. Memorial tributes may be made to the Goerlich Center, Sylvania, OH. or Senior Independence Hospice, Toledo.

On behalf of the staff at The Goerlich Center, we send our deepest condolences. Angie was a lovely lady, here face would just light up in her own way when she was communicating. The way she would raise her eyebrows and smile just made her face beam. The way should would hold hands. She will be missed.

aunt angie will fly on angels wings with the birds. Her spirit will remain in our hearts and minds forever and to her children and grandchildren shall her spirit soar.

We want to extend our deepest, heartfelt sympathy to Janie and your Family, to Mike and His Family, to Nancy and her Family and to Don. We are so sorry that we were unable to be there but we have been out of state since January. May the Lord comfort your hearts as you grieve the memory of your Mom.
