Carol was a math teacher, beginning her career at St. Adalbert Grade School from 1972 until 1980, then teaching at her alma mater Central Catholic High School from 1980 until her retirement in 2003.
She taught for 31 years, touching thousands of lives in the classroom.  Carol met her husband of 43 years, Ronald F. Koperski, at a CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) dance, and they were married on April 16, 1966 at St. Adalbert Church.

Dear Daughters,
We moved away from Toledo a year ago. We recall how much you felt tai chi did for her after the death of your father. She gave more than she received. Her generous gifts of time and energy made us a better organization. We loved those wine tastings. Her smile and willingness to work to improve her tai chi was an example for all of us.
Sorry we cannot be there to express our feelings in person. Carol was special.

I was sorry to hear about your mother. Her and I attended Central and MMC together. We were both in the class of 1966. She was with our group the night she met your father. I always enjoyed running into her at educational activities. May she rest in Peace.

I send my deepest respect and condolences to the entire Koperski Family (and Dana & Brandon) as having met her (Carol Ann Koperski) only a few times but felt very great warmth from her and never felt like a stranger in her presense. May God Almighty assure you as only He can that she is in His Loving Arms and her eternal Residence is in Heaven with Him, in Peace, with all those she loved that went before her.
With all my love, respect & Sympathy

To Carol's family:

I was just reading the Catholic Chronicle today and was sad to see that Carol had passed away. I taught with Carol at Central Catholic from 1980-86. I, too, was a math teacher and our rooms were right next to each other. I loved working with Carol, eating lunch with her and talking with her about our families, etc. She was very special and one of my favorite people there. My condolences to her family and may your special memories help you through this difficult time.
