Theodore “Ted”  “Chuck” Urzykowski, age 82, passed away on Monday January 28, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Ted was born in Toledo on April 5, 1930, the son of Robert and Verna (Augustyniak) Urzykowski.
    He honorably served his country in the U. S. Army and retired from the Toledo Lucas County Public Library. Ted was a member of Przybylski American Legion Post #642 for 28 years.
     He enjoyed his retirement, traveling with family to Poland and Europe and many trips to the casinos up north. Ted also spent time with his beloved grandsons, taking them golfing, bowling and to the arcades.
    Ted was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 52 years Rita; brother Robert Urzykowski Jr. and brother-in-law Stanley Tucholski.
    He is survived by his loving daughters Lori (Ken) Smigielski and Deborah Urzykowski; adoring grandsons Lucas (Kayley) and Benjamin Smigielski; sister Rose Timar; sister-in-law Dorothy Michalski and sister and brother in law Ruth and Bob Hartwig.
    Family and friends may visit Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., where Przybylski AL Post #642 will conduct services at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin with Prayers at the Mortuary on Friday at 9:30a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church at 10:00a.m.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
    Memorial tributes may be made to the Cherry St. Mission or a charity of the donor’s choice.
