Maxine M. Madrzykowski, 86, of Maumee, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2013 at her residence.  She was born on August 17, 1926 to Zygmund and Helen (Kwiatkowski) Zebrowski in South Bend, IN.  
    Maxine worked in food service at the Student Union for the University of Toledo, retiring after several dedicated years.  She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church and their Seniors group.  Maxine enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers at home and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene; her parents; and beloved dog Sassy.  She will be dearly missed by her children, Chris Hejnicki, Gene Madrzykowski, Mike (Linda) Madry and Diane (Ron) Nelson; grandchildren, Tiffany (Shawn) Tysiak, Heather Hoffman, Kennedy Madrzykowski, Sophia and Logan Parish, Charlie Madry, Angela and Ron Jr. Nelson; great grandchildren, Adam and Katie Tysiak, Taylor Nelson, Skylar Acosta and Deano Holtz; sister, Delores Bilski; and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Deca and Elaine Madrzykowski.
    Family and friends may visit at the W.K. Sujkowksi & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., on Monday from 2-8pm where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Hyacinth Church at 10:00am.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial tributes may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.  
    The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio and Heather Wittscheck for all of their compassionate care and support.

A fine lady indeed with a sharp wit. Fun to be around. Have always yearned for another great "garage party." OUr thoughts are with the family, and Maxine today.
