Marjorie E. Schaefer, age 85, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the Northwest Ohio Hospice Center, Toledo. Marjorie was born in Paducah, Kentucky on February 17, 1928. She was a true woman of faith, and her most rewarding experience was teaching Bible Study to the children at Bible Temple on Airport Hwy. Marjorie touched many lives through her ministry, and when she could no longer teach at the church she began her electronic ministry by sending out her “Word for the Day”; bible passages that she e-mailed daily to many family members and friends.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Edward and sisters Sue Pierce and Sandra Vaughn. She is survived by her loving children Bruce (Kim) Schaefer and Sabrina (Buck) Grimm; grandchildren Tamara Grimm, Nicole (Ibad) Siddiqi and Robert Grimm; brothers Jerry (Shirley) Kaiser and Bill Hartzel; sister Sally (Kurt) Carlos and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may visit Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Bible Temple Children’s Ministry.

Sabrina and Buck - My family and I are keeping your family in prayer at this difficult time. Difficult for you, because you'll miss your Mom, but we're praising the Lord, because she's now working for Him on another level. I've been to Bible Temple several time in the past years, so perhaps I've met your Mom! Remember Joshua 1:9 - when he says he'll never leave us or forsake us, He means it! Love to your family.
