Orville J. Kummer, 90, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Swan Creek Health Care Center.  He was born in Toledo on July 3, 1923 to Albert Kummer and Evangeline (Peach) Brown.  He was married to his loving and devoted wife Beatrice (Nadolny) for 62 years.  Orville was a WWII Army veteran who took an active part in the liberation of Birkenau.  After the war, Orville worked for the New York Central/Conrail Railroad as a clerk for over 30 years.  He was an avid fisherman and always enjoyed the outdoors.
   Orville is preceded in death by his wife Beatrice and survived by his sons Greg (Tini) Kummer and Jeff Kummer; daughter Nancy (Chuck) Pisarski; grandchildren Joanna (Pisarski) Jones; Kellley Kummer; Vincent Pisarski; and Zachary Kummer.
   Family and friends may visit Monday, March 17, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski and Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  The family suggests contributions to Swan Creek Health Care Center.
