Martha T. Prala, age 89, passed away suddenly on Monday May 26, 2013. Martha was born in Toledo on June 1, 1924 to George and Stella (Raczkowski) Rusek. “Busia” loved and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them. She enjoyed going on bus trips to the Casino with the St. Hyacinth Seniors and she baked delicious Polish coffee cakes.
  Martha was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Jennie, Mary, Helen and Lillian and her brothers Adam and Peter. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Norman; sons Gary (Judy) and Duane (Mary Jo) Prala; grandchildren Nickolas (Amy) Prala, Brittany (Justin) Riddle, Jamieson (Tabitha) and Alan (Lisa) Prala and great grandchildren Carter, Maxwell and Lucy.    
  Family and friends may visit on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday May 31, 2014 at 9 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church where the Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family prefers that memorial tributes be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

God Bless Busia's soul. She was such a loving, beautiful lady. She will be missed by so many! Prayers to Jotch (sp?), Duane, Mary Jo, Jaimeson and Tab, Alan and Lisa, and little Lucy. She loved you all so much!!

I was very fortunate to meet Mrs. Prala at showers and weddings and most recently at Lucy's birthday party just this past April. She was so sharp, sweet and a very elegant lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you this weekend. God bless and take care.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Martha was such a beautiful person & full of love. She provided a friendship over the decades with my parents that brought hope, love & laughter to their lives. Norm - may you find peace in knowing she's happy & comfortable where she's at.
