Daniel F. “Don” Swiczkowski, age 79, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014.  He was born on November 8, 1934, the son of Joseph and Tekla (Kwiatkowski) Swiczkowski.  Don was employed at Unicast, and Toledo Tool & Die where he had been a tool & die maker until retiring.  He was an Army veteran.  Don loved his family and enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.  
Don was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Walter, Stanley, Edward, Joseph Jr., Theodore, Anthony, Melvin, Raymond and Stephen; sisters, Janina and Angeline.  Daniel is survived by his brother Chester Swiczkowski; sisters, Frances Lisenbee and Agnes Swiczkowski; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Swiczkowski; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 5-8p.m. and Wednesday from 2-8p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., where scriptures will be held at 7:00p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 9:15a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:00a.m.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.   Memorial contributions may be directed to Our Lady of Lourdes ‘We Build’ campaign.
