Barbara L. Powers, age 84, passed away on Saturday October 25, 2014. Barbara was born in Toledo on January 19, 1930, the daughter of Leo and Clara Baidel. She was an LPN and Pharmacy Tech for 20 years at Mercy St. Vincent medical Center. Barbara cherished her family and loved spending time with them.
  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, 3 daughters, 2 sons and her brother Carl. She is survived by her children Michaline (Kevin) Smyth, Constance Nycum, Judith (Timothy) Stover, Suzanne Dennis, Tina (Charles) Hasty and Scott Powers; sister Judie Thomas; 27 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday October 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral where visiting will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial tributes may be made to Promedica Hospice.
