Robert A. “Bud” Rejent, age 86, of Toledo, passed away on March 27, 2015 at the Elizabeth Scott Community.   He was born in Toledo on January 17, 1929, the son of Frank and Victoria (Szymanowski) Rejent.  Bud served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  He graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Electrical Engineering and was employed for 41 years at the Toledo Scale Co. Bud was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Logsdon Walla Post 639, where he had been the Treasurer, the American Legion Przybylski Post 642 and a member over 50 years of the Golden UT Alumni Association.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Al and Ray Rejent. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Louise (Mocniak); son Robert Jr.; daughter and son-in-law Mary Beth and Paul Colatruglio; grandchildren Chris and Matt and numerous family and friends.  
   Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2-8p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., with C.W.V. Post 639 services at 6:00p.m. followed by A.L. Post 642 services at 6:30p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday March 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where visiting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Bud’s family expresses heartfelt thanks to the staffs at UTMC, Elizabeth Scott Community and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care and support during Bud’s illness. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial tributes be made to the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave., Sandusky OH. 44870 or a charity of the donor’s choice.

We love our family Thanksgiving with your family and will miss Bud's quick wit and stories....he was a wonderful man who raised wonderful children! Love you all and hope his stories, jokes and family memories will warm your hearts as you go through this most difficult time. LOVE YOU!

happy times. This is a name from the past as I worked with Louise at Toledo Trust,
Security Dept. many, many years ago. I have thought of you over the years, wondering
