Milton L. Hens, age 76, passed away on Wednesday April 1, 2015. Milt was born in Toledo on April 11, 1938, the son of Nathan and Sally (Wolinski) Hens. He was a graduate of Macomber High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. Milt became a Toledo Police Officer on April 2, 1965 and retired on January 28, 1993. After retiring Milt was a courier for Heartland Health Care. Before his illness Milt was a member of the Toledo Police Post of the American legion and the Retired Police Officers Assoc. Milt enjoyed reading, poker and going to the casino and took great joy in being with his family.
   Milt was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Patricia (Robert) Roszyk, Alicia (LeRoy) Parke and Joyce (Bill) Miscannon. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Susan (Materni) Hens; children Michelle (Tim) Moll, Jamie (Greg) Rospert and Christopher (Tanja) Hens; grandchildren Loryn, Ashley, Raychyl, Haylley, Jamyson, Phyllana, Adalynn and Emilee; step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
  Family and friends may visit Monday April 6, 2015 from 9-11 a.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio. The family expresses heartfelt thanks to Senior Independence Hospice, especially Sheniece, for the compassionate care given to Milt during his illness.

Was so sorry to hear about Milt. He was a big man with a big heart. We used to have such good times with Sue and him, lots of old memories.
Our thoughts are with all of you and may God give you comfort.
