Carolynn Ann Hens, age 67, of Toledo, passed away on April 29, 2015 surrounded by her family and friends.   She was born on December 3, 1947 to Richard Sr. and Jeanette (Ratz) Hens in Toledo, OH.   Carol worked as a financial specialist for various medical companies and most recently for Wildwood Medical Center.  
    Carol was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she also was a lector, Eucharistic minister and a volunteer to many of their various committees.  She was also an active member and current 1st Vice officer at the C.W.V.A. Logsdon-Walla Post 639.  Carol enjoyed shopping and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Minnesota Vikings.
    Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Hens.   She will be dearly missed by her father Richard Hens Sr.; sister, Bonnie (Richard) Tolles; brother, Richard (Karen) Hens Jr.; 13 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews and many cousins.  
    Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2-8p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., with scriptures services and C.W.V.A. Post 639 services at 7:00p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where visiting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Our Lady of Lourdes “We Build” campaign.

I am grateful for the years Carolyn was employed in our office. She was a joyful, spirited presence. May Carolyn's life of service and commitment continue to inspire all of us.
My deepest sympathy and prayer-filled thoughts are with her Father and all of her family and friends.
