Clifford J. Kujawa, age 84, of Toledo, passed away on May 17, 2015.  He was born on November 17, 1930, the son of Felix and Helena (Banachowski) Kujawa.   Cliff attended Nativity grade school and Libbey High School.   He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.  
      Upon returning from the war, Cliff met and married his wife, Phyllis, on September 7, 1953 at St. Teresa’s Church.   He began his career for the Toledo Trust Company then retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford Company.   Cliff was a devout Catholic.   He was ordained as a Deacon on November 17, 1984 where he was a dedicated and faithful member at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.  
     He always had a strong faith in God and was always striving for spiritual growth and to do good for others.   Cliff was a member of the C.W.V. Logsdon-Walla Post 639 and A.L. Przybylski Post 642.  Cliff enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, and was an avid Notre Dame fan.  
     Clifford was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis; his parents; and sister, Rosalyn Rogala.   He will be dearly missed by his uncle Richard ‘Dixie’ Banachowski and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  
     Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-8p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., with C.W.V. Logsdon-Walla Post 639 services and recitation of the rosary at 6:00p.m., A.L. Przybylski Post 642 services at 6:30p.m. and Scripture Services at 7:00p.m.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:00a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where visiting will begin at 9:00a.m.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Our Lady of Lourdes “We Build” campaign or Gentiva Hospice.
