Robert Zaborski, age 90, passed away on Thursday December 10, 2015 at the Northwest Ohio Hospice Center in Perrysburg. Robert was the son of Leopold and Stella (Klatt) Zaborski and was born in Toledo on October 1, 1925.
     He served his country in the U. S. Navy during WWII. Robert was a tool and die maker and began his career at Willys Overland and retired in 1990 from Toledo Pressed Steel where he also served as U.A.W. Chairman. Robert enjoyed traveling, fishing, Ohio State football and OSU and Duke basketball and in his retirement tried his hand at woodworking.
     Robert was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 58 years Phyllis; brothers Raymond and Melvin and sisters Irene and Adeline. He is survived by his sons Mike (Barb), David (Monica) and Kenneth (Wendy) Zaborski; daughter Christine Roth; sister Eleanor Wolniewicz; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
     Family and friends may visit Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the Mortuary on Tuesday December 15, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
     In lieu of flowers memorial tributes may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Alzheimer’s Association.
