Arthur R. Wodarski, age 87, and formerly of Toledo, passed away on Monday January 11, 2016 in Matthews, NC. Art was the son of Ollie and Hattie (Michalak) Wodarski and was born in Toledo on August 30, 1928. He was a machine operator for Dana Corporation. After his retirement, Art went to work for Barry Bagels until 2005. He then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to enjoy his children and grandchildren. He faithfully served his country in the U. S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. Art enjoyed bowling and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Jude Council #3904.
  Art was preceded in death by his parents, brother Benny and sister Joan Held . He is survived by his loving children Krissy (Joe) Wunder and Allan Wodarski; grandchildren Miranda, Evan, Elliot, Dalton, Campbell Rae; sister, Sister Maurice Wodarski, OSF and sister-in-law Barbara Wodarski.
  Family and friends may visit Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where Scripture services will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the mortuary on Tuesday January 19, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
