Joseph M. Meiring, age 57, of Walbridge Ave., Toledo, passed away suddenly on Saturday April 2, 2016 at home. Joe was the son of Frederick and Roseann (Marvin) Meiring and was born in Toledo on May 20, 1958.
  He owned and operated Artistic Masonry for 24 years and was known in the Toledo and surrounding areas as an exceptional mason. The only thing he loved more than masonry was his family. He was a great husband, father, papa, and friend. Joe loved his vegetable gardens, his Harley, fishing, hunting, canoeing, camping, his dog Spike and his chickens. He was a great man who took pride in helping others and he will truly be missed by all.  
  Joe was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Velma (Little) Meiring; children Joshua (Janelle) and Jami (Shawn Budy) Meiring; mother Roseann; grandchildren Joseph and Jace Meiring and siblings Valerie Smallman, Rick (Karen), Bill (Ruth), Dave (Leeann), Dan, Jerry, Ed (Rosellie) Meiring, Rosalee (Mike) Parker and Edie Meiring.
   Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral services will be held Friday April 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Andrew, 3620 Heatherdowns Blvd. where visiting will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

So Sorry to hear of Joe's untimely death. I know he was a hard working man and loved his family. I wish his family the comfort of our Lord at this most difficult time. May you find comfort in the great memories that you created over the years.
