Beverly A. Serke, age 83, passed away on Friday November 4, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Beverly was the daughter of Michael and Rose Wisniewski and was born in Toledo on January 26, 1933. She was a graduate of St. Stanislaus Grade School and Central Catholic High School, class of 1951. Beverly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the UT College of Pharmacy in 1956. She was a member of AOπ Sorority; charter member of Alpha Mu Chapter Lambda Kappa Sigma Pharmaceutical Women’s Fraternity; charter member of chapter Rho Chi Pharmacy Honorary Society and member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.  
   Beverly was a registered pharmacist in Florida and Ohio and worked 17 years at Medical Arts Pharmacy, 2 ½ years for Lane Drugs and 20 years at Shale Pharmacy, retiring in 1996. Beverly played second violin for the Perrysburg Symphony for 10 years and was a member of the Sylvania Senior Center’s Senior K Band where she performed in the Senior Center Follies in 2000 through 2004. She was also a member of the Lourdes College Chorus for 13 years. Beverly was a longtime member of Gesu Catholic Church and its choir. She liked to dance, sing, cook and bake and loved to ski and cross country ski.
  Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Serke. She is survived by her sister-in-law Sue Serke, brother-in-law John Serke and many loving cousins on both sides of Mike and Rose’s families.
  Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 2-6 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday November 9, 2016 at 10:30 a,m. in Gesu Catholic Church where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Dear Family Members and Friends,
I am sorry to learn of Beverly Serke's recent death. What an earthly loss to a deeply loved family member and friend!. Please know that my loving thoughts and continued prayers are with all of you. May Beverly rest with God and all the angels & saints in eternal peace.
I never met Beverly, though I learned through choir & chorus friends that she was a wonderful lady and a gifted musician.
