Francis W. Creque, age 93, of Toledo, passed away on November 4, 2017.  He was the son of Joseph and Frazie (Ellenwood) Creque and was born in Monroe, Michigan on December 22, 1923. Francis served his country as a paratrooper in the U. S. Marine Corp during WW II.
  He began his working career as a heavy equipment operator and then formed Creque Brothers Landscaping with his brother Robert. After leaving the landscaping business he owned and operated Toledo Saw, Knife and Grinding until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed making furniture, other woodworking projects and watching his great grandchildren participate in sports.
   Francis was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Phyllis and brothers Robert and Darrell. He is survived by his daughter Margaret Boltz; son Darrell (Kathe); grandchildren Sean (Renee), Kevin (Jessica) and Nathan (Lindsay) Boltz; Brianne (John) Cox and Andrea (Mark) Merkel; long time companion Marge Blondo and the Blondo children (Deborah, James, Christine, Julie, Kevin and Catherine); great grandchildren Elizabeth, Michael, Hannah, Leland, Grayson and Liam Boltz, Albert and Lucy Merkel, Wyatt and Eoin Cox; sister Mary (Jim) Attaway and stepbrother Robert Hummon.
   Family and friends may visit Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where scripture services will be held at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10 a.m.  in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes “We Build” Campaign.

I did not get to meet Frank but a few times.
But one of the times I did met Frank I was hobbling around at a party because I sprained my ankle. Frank let me use his cane since I was hurting.

That is the simplest overview I can give you of Frank as a person.
Rest in peace, you were missed by many!
