Martha F. Jankowski, 87, returned to her heavenly home on Friday, November 24th. Her
devotion to her family, friends, and her faith gave her peace in her return.
Martha was born to Father, Leo Augustyniak and Mother, Sophia (Olwick) Augustyniak
on Sunday August 3rd, 1930. She married John S. Jankowski on October 20th, 1951 and was
blessed with 3 boys shortly after.
Martha was a social butterfly and very active in her community. Her calendar had very
few blank spaces, her phone always ringing, and her home always prepared for visitors. She was
a member at the Przybylski American Legion Auxiliary, the Little Flower Altar and Rosary, St.
Hyacinth seniors, U.S.A. Seniors, and was a volunteer at the Lake Park gift shop on Flower
Hospital campus. She was always finding the bake sales or the pot luck dinners to volunteer at,
always serving her time for everyone else. She knew where all of the polka bands were playing
and her feet were the first on the dance floor. She made her way around the world from
London and Rome to Turkeyville and Frankenmuth, bus trips and plane rides…she loved her

So sorry to hear about your mom. I remember going to a few concerts with her, and even coming to Monroe to hear you play. Prayers for you and the rest of the family.

I have fond memories of playing euchre with Martha at The American Legion Post 642. Martha was always a fun person to be around. I hadn't seen her in a while but whenever I ran into Dick he always let me know how she was doing. I don't know any of her children but I send thoughts and prayers your way in memory of a very sweet lady.

I have fond memories of Martha from my childhood. She was a lovely lady and always welcomed me into her home. I know she will be missed by so many. She was a fun and loving Mother. Many sympathies to her 3 sons and their families. Love, Pam Spalding

Your father was my cousin and your mom was always
With him for any of the Jankowski events.
She was a very gracious and warm lady. I wish you well
In the days ahead in your grieving process.
Your dad now has Martha by his side again.
I am having dental surgery today and tomorrow
So I will not be able to pay respects in person.
God bless Martha and your entire family.
Susan (Zalenski) and Donald Nieckarz.
