I was blessed to have Gert in my life for this long... she is my Godmother and a good one at that... We spent many hours together at the craft stores or out to lunch. I already miss her very much. She was my confidant and my shoulder to cry on. May she Rest in Peace and peace to all my family who I love very much...

I have participated for many years in craft shows Gert has organized for her parish. I will miss her good spirit, her ready smile, and her busy hands. She did so much for the benefit of others, and took pleasure in her family and friends. She will watch over them throughout eternity.

My condolences to the Opaczewski Family. I remember meeting Mrs. O many years ago and she struck me as being quiet the lady then as evidenced by the raising of her children. May peace be with you all.

Dear Opaczewski Family,

My deepest condolences in the loss of your mother. My mother Dorothy (Klatt) Rollins and my Aunt Bea (Klatt) Zielinski were lifelong friends to your mother and her sisters. I remember many times my mother spoke about Gert and the girls in the "Sewing Club" with fondness.
