If you had the opportunity to know Rita, you were a lucky person. Rita loved her family and was proud of all of them. She liked playing cards and watching car racing but I knew Rita best as a loving, caring and devoted nurse. She was proud to have gotten her degree Associates, Bachelors and Master's degrees. Frankly, Rita was born a nurse. She lost her husband Ed at an early age and I know she missed him everyday. She's with him now and they are watching over the family she loved so much. Thank you Rita for being a part of my life. I could not have asked for a better friend and co-worker.

I knew Rita when we worked together at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Whenever she was asked to help one of the other nurses she never said no but gave her all to help us out. Last summer a group of us went to the Amish country for the day and had a fun time just checking everything out and you would never have known she was not feeling well.
She was a loving person and a devoted nurse and I'm sure she is still doing that nursing in heaven . She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
