Dolores M. “Dee” Slowinski, age 85, passed away on November 11, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.  She was born on November 19, 1932, the daughter of Adrian Lendecker and Helen (Zientkowski) Therrien.  Dee attended Davis Business College and was employed at many corporations.  She began her career at Toledo Scale, moved on to Owens Illinois as an executive secretary where she retired at age 55.  She continued to work part-time at other businesses and fully retired at the age of 71 from Fraser, Martin and Miller, Patent Attorneys.  Dee was a member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church and an active volunteer for their various functions and activities.  Dolores married Robert Slowinski on July 2, 1960, the love of her life, best friend, and soulmate, who preceded her in death in 2006.
Dee was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother “GiGi”.  She was warm-hearted, compassionate and kind, giving inspiration to everyone she met.  Dee was an avid golfer, her first date with her husband, Robert, was on the golf course.  She also enjoyed reading, gardening, puzzles, and playing cards, especially pinochle.  Most of all, Dee cherished the time she spent with her family.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Mary Beth Slowinski; infant great grandchildren, Samuel Prucnal and Isaiah Lynde; brother, Ronald (Joanne) Lendecker; and sister, Margaret (George) Martin.  She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Denise (Ronnie) Zakrzewski of Millbury, OH; grandchildren, Amy (Daniel) Prucnal of Walbridge, OH; Eric (Sharon) Zakrzewski of Woodville, OH; Aaron Lynde of Belgium; Gloria (Colin) Moritz of Houston, TX, and Valerie (Jonathan) Peterson of Lenexa, KS; great grandchildren, Shelby and Kaiden Prucnal, Dominic and Gracelyn Zakrzewski, Jackson Lynde, and soon-to-be great grandson Jonah Peterson; brother, Frank (Lee) Lendecker; and sisters, Mary Ann (Ronald) Scott and Kathy (Robert) Murray.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy.   Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 with a prayer service in the mortuary at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church.  Interment will be private at Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial tributes may be directed to St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all their compassionate care and support.
