John F. Kott, age 62, loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle, passed away on February 15, 2020.  He was born the middle child of Helen (Revill) and Roman Kott in Toledo.
John worked in construction for many years, but his favorite employment was driving for TPS.  He lived life to the fullest, enjoying family gatherings the most.  Sunday breakfast and dinner were always a high spot in his week.
John enjoyed sports (especially his favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings), camping, fishing, bowling, and horseshoes, where he ran the horseshoe tournaments at the lake for years.  Driving was another pleasure.  He would jump in the truck and take his family for a drive to see the countryside.
John was preceded in death by his father.  He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Lura (Withrow) Kott; daughter,  Adeline Ruth Kott; mother, Helen Kott; brother, Skip Kott; sisters, Connie Yaney, Theresa (Steve) Jones, Julie (Marty) Fritts, Carolyn (Keith) Keil and Cathy Keil; brother-in-law, Chuck Withrow; many nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
Family and visit on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Services at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Jon Bell officiation, at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy.
