I was sad to read of Lois' passing. I volunteered with her for a number of years at Flower Hospital. She was a good friend of my aunts - Lee Heerdegen. Loved working with her - she taught me a lot about helping people . She was such a classy lady - I loved it when I saw her outside the hospital. She was always dressed perfectly and beautifully. She and I talked about our relationships with the Lord and I know of her beliefs and am confident she is in Heaven today. I called her about 6 or 7 months ago just to chat. She remembered me and we had a good time reminicsing.

I haven't seen Lois in 9-10 years since retiring from Flower Hospital..but she left me with a vivid memory..She just sparkled..decorating herself for St. Paddy's day and all the holidays. Lois was like an unpaid employee, working in PR..Always,always.great to chat with..(It seems it takes a lot of spirit just to be a volunteer..}..Anyway,Just wanted you to know she was loved by all..

I’m sorry to hear of Lois’ passing. We volunteered at Flower Hospital together, and when I was an escort, I often had lunch in the cafeteria with her. Lois was always an inspiration to me. She was such a positive person, and always had good things to say about others. Please accept my sincere condolences, and know that Lois will be missed by many.
