Kevin was a great friend and someone who always someone you could count on, he was a great Chief and carried that with him when he left the Navy, he will long be remembered by his friends and family as someone who lived his life to the fullest, may we all tell stories of his adventures and smile at a life well lived. Rest In Peace my brother, you passing is only eased by the faith that you are someplace better and enjoying golf every day.

Only Kevin and I will ever know the incredible efforts, struggles, sacrifices, and accomplishments made together.   The heights, depths, breadths. The tears, the fears, the cheers...   Always there when I needed him most, never had to ask.  What mateship is defined by.

You were often part of my greatest of achievements and in my fondest memories old friend, most never seen or known of others.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Kevin's passing.  I only knew Kevin after retirement when we worked together in Egypt.  He was a good friend who helped me adapt to the new job and new culture and more importantly he was brother Chief who broke bread many times at our table.  He Loved life, Loved the Navy, and Loved teaching others and was often the tough reality check we needed.  There is no doubt in my mind that Sailors are alive today because of what Kevin taught them both in and out of the Navy.  Prayers for Kevin's soul and for comfort and peace for his beloved family and friends.  God bless and Requiescat in Pace, shipmate.
