Betty J. Carpenter, 94, of Toledo, passed away on October 19, 2021. She was born on November 23, 1926, to Arthur and Ruth (Kneale) Carter in Toledo.
Betty worked as a waitress for Dudley’s, retiring after 30 dedicated years. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church. Betty enjoyed collecting dolls and dolphins and working crossword puzzles.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl Sr.; children, Earl Jr., David, and Naomi; siblings, Caroline, Vivian, Gladys, June, Homer, Grover, and Jim Jr.; and son’s-in-law, Johnny, Marc, and Pat. She will be dearly missed by her children, Karen Lobel, Sharon Ferris, Jim (Carole) Carpenter, and Betty Joy Luntsford; daughter’s-in-law, Linda and Anna Carpenter; brother, Norman (Bonnie) Carter; 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
