Daniel F. Losek, 95, of Holland, OH, passed away on December 20, 2021. He was born on February 15, 1926, to Clemence and Lottie Losek in Toledo, OH. Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked for the Bostwick-Braun Company and retired after 42 years. Daniel was a member of the Teamsters and a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Daniel was a self-taught, accomplished accordionist, fondly known as “Dan The Accordion Man”. He enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk and knew Myron Floren and met Dick Contino as well as Art Van Damme. Daniel loved fishing and enjoyed watching sports, especially The University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Toledo Rockets, Las Vegas Raiders, Toledo Mud Hens and Boston Red Sox.
Daniel was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jennie; his parents; and brother, Clem Losek. He will be dearly missed by his children, Dianna (Henry) Swearengen, Janice (Michael) Peraino, Daniel A. (Kathrine) Losek, Linda (Terry) Frampton, and Tina Kanfield; grandchildren, Rachelle (Kevin), Jill (Greg), Gilbert (Kyle), Christina (Ken), Jim (Nikki), Daniel II (Jennifer), Marc (Terri), Jennifer (Jeff), Brent (Amber), Brooke and Grant; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Phyllis Gorney; special friends Dorothy and son Gary; and extended family and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Monday from 2-8:00pm, with scripture services at 7:00pm, at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, with prayers in the mortuary at 9:15am, followed by the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
