Diane D. Best

Diane D. Best, 83, of Toledo, passed away on October 27, 2021. She was born on January 17, 1938, to John and Raphael Drella in Toledo.
   Diane worked as a teller for First Federal Bank and eventually retired from Great Lakes Credit Union. She was a former member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church and their Altar and Rosary Society. Diane was a current and very active member of St. Hyacinth Church and their Seniors. She was also a member of the Owens Illinois Golden Emblem.
   Diane enjoyed to bowl, trips to the casino, and the Price is Right where she appeared and won the final showcase in 2004. Most of all, Diane truly cherished her family.
   Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband, John; her parents; and sister, Delphine Folk. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Karen (Paul) Lindsey, Margaret (Rod) Shaw and Cathy (Rob) Lingel; grandchildren, Jason (Michelle) Manzagol, Jamie (Amber) Manzagol, Michael (Lia) Manzagol, Dustin (Ariel) Lingel, Garrett Shaw and Melissa Shaw; great grandchildren, Dante Lingel, Lillian, and Isabella Manzagol; and extended family and friends.
    Family and friends may visit on Monday from 2-7:00 p.m., with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00 p.m., at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at St. Hyacinth Church at 10:00 a.m. where friends may visit after 9:00 a.m. Memorial tributes may be directed to St. Hyacinth Church Seniors club.
