Melvin A. Adamski, 82, of Toledo, passed away on February 1, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1939, to Vincent and Stella Adamski in Toledo. Melvin served his country in the United States Air Force, Ohio National Guard. He worked as a manager for Al Thomas Shoes and retired from Swanton Pharmacy. Melvin was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation – Maumee Valley Chapter, the Adams Conservation Club, and the Toledo Polish Genealogical Society.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara (Jasinski); children, Christopher Adamski, Timothy Adamski, and Wendy Adamski-Stubleski; grandchildren, Hillary Ellen (Josh) Bidleman, Kendyl, Skylar and Shialoh Stubleski; great grandson, Princeton Lyons; and extended family and friends.
In keeping with Melvin’s wishes, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the National Wild Turkey Federation – Maumee Valley Chapter: NWTF c/o Darrel Limes, 5825 Bucher Rd., Whitehouse, OH 43571.
