Michael A. Kujawa, 74, of Holland, passed away on March 16, 2022. He was born on July 25, 1947, to Edwin and Jane Kujawa in Toledo. Mike served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army and was an active member of the American Legion Adams Township Post 553. He worked and retired from Toledo Tool and Die. Mike truly loved sports whether it would be playing, coaching, or spectating. He spent many years coaching youth sports for Our Lady of Lourdes School and the Springfield Athletic Association. Mike enjoyed golfing and accomplished two ‘hole-in-ones’. He also was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Indians.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Kevin John Kujawa. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Geraldine “Gerry” (Tesznar); children, Keith (Suzanne) Kujawa and Denise (Jon) Luna; grandchildren, Samantha and Nicholas; brother-in-law, Michael Tesznar; loyal dog, Charlie; and extended family and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 4-8:00 p.m., with scripture services at 7:00 p.m. followed by the A.L. Adams Twsp. Post 553 services at 7:30 p.m., at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, with prayers in the mortuary at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment with military honors will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial tributes may be directed to Heartbeat of Ohio, American Legion Adams Twsp.
