Raymond J. Adamski “Pete”, 90, passed away on September 1, 2021. He was born on February 6, 1931 to George and Veronica (Andrejan) Adamski in Toledo. Pete proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. Pete was a dedicated worker. He began his career owning and operating a barber shop. After his retirement he went on to work for and retired from the Lion Store then Kroger. Pete was a member of A.L. Przybylski Post 642 and the Impossible Club. He enjoyed traveling, casino trips, and he cherished the time he spent with his family.
Pete was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeanette; daughter, Cynthia Keane; and son, Brian Adamski; and was the “last of the Mohicans” of his 11 siblings. He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Patricia (Jerry Quick) Adamski; and stepdaughter, Patricia (Robert) Cook; grandchildren, Nathan (Sara), Neal (Jamie), Brynn (Chase) and Brenda (Drew); step-grandchildren, Doug, Tom (Ondrea) and Erin (Jim); 13 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lucille and Ruth Adamski; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Tributes may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at the Goerlich Center for their care and support.
