Richard E Augustyniak

Richard E. Augustyniak, 89, of Toledo, passed away on November 23, 2021. He was born on September 15, 1932, to Leo and Sophia Augustyniak in Toledo. Richard served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After the service, he was a small business owner, operating different business in the Toledo area until he retired. Richard was a member of the of the Przybylski American Legion Post 642 where he was one of the oldest members. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, polka dancing, and was very proud of his Polish heritage.

 Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bettie; brothers, Raymond and Leonard; and sister, Martha Jankowski. He will be dearly missed by sister-in-law, Vera Augustyniak; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

 A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 a.m. where friends may visit after 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be directed to St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church or Honor Flight of NWO.
