RoseAnn E. Koperski

RoseAnn E. (Rogowski) Koperski, age 74, died peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2021, after a fourteen-month battle with multiple illnesses.
  Our mom was a strong, determined fighter. She was born on March 8, 1947, to Anthony and Stella (Guziolek) Rogowski. RoseAnn graduated from Whitney High School in 1965 and married Kenneth on August 20, 1966. RoseAnn had a lifelong career in the insurance industry, working until she was physically unable, most recently at Hylant.
  RoseAnn always put everyone else before herself. Our mom was the most unselfish person we have ever known. Her favorite activity was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, who lovingly called her Boo.
   She enjoyed travelling, bunco, crafts, and an occasional visit to the casino. She will be missed by her bunco girls who have been friends since grade school, her alumni group from high school, and many good work friends.
  RoseAnn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother John Rogowski, who she took care of all of his life. Her in laws, Edmund and Harriet (Wisniewski) Koperski also preceded her in death.
   She is survived by husband Ken: daughters Karri (John) Adler, Kristin and Kelly; granddaughter Abby Adler; and grandson Andrew Adler. She is also survived by close cousins, Bonnie (Jim deceased) Swiderski, Tim (Deb) Lewandowski, Jim Lewandowski (deceased) and their families; cousin, Marcy Kaptur; aunt, Aurelia Guziolek; brother-in-law, Fred (Claudia) Koperski and family; the family of deceased brother-in-law, Dick (Mary Ann) Koperski; other family members, and many friends.
   Thank you to the staff at The Gardens of St. Francis for their loving care during the last months of Rose Ann's life and Hospice of Northwest Ohio during her last days.
   The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. and a Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. A Funeral Mass will be held at Historic Church of St. Patrick on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., where friends may visit after 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
