Rose Marie A. Pacer, 83, formerly of Toledo, passed away on April 12, 2022, in Hudson, Ohio where she currently resided. She was born on December 29, 1938, to Raymond and Bernice Mierzwiak in Toledo. Rose Marie graduated from Central Catholic High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo in Pharmacy. She worked as a pharmacist for Toledo Hospital until her retirement, then continued to work part-time for several years. Rose Marie was a devout catholic and member of St. Joseph Church in Sylvania, Ohio. She was an active eucharistic minister, reader, and assisted with RICA and PSR. Rose Marie enjoyed cooking, baking, arts and crafts, gardening, traveling the world with her husband and son, her canine companions, and she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Rose Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Paul Pacer and her parents. She will be dearly missed by her son, Dr. K. Scott Pacer; daughter-in-law, Kyra Pacer; grandchildren, Trent, Tess, Lauren, and Sarah Pacer; brother, Ronald (Judy) Mierzwiak; brother’s-in-law, Richard (Joyce), John (Nora) and Robert (Laurie) Pacer; sister-in-law, Elaine (Rick) Moore; nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, Sylvania, Ohio. Family and friends may visit St. Joseph’s starting at 10:30 a.m. A recitation of the rosary will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Sisters of St. Francis Retirement Fund, (Advancement Office c/o Eileen Kerner, 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania, OH 43560)
