Irene Kujawa, age 98, passed away on November 11, 2017.  She was born in Toledo on January 29, 1919 to Charles and Hattie (Antozewski) Pietrykowski.  Irene worked as a food service worker for 22 years at the former Medical College of Ohio, retiring in 1981.  She enjoyed bowling, even at the age of 90, and was on the Senior League at Southwyck Lanes.
   Irene was preceded in death by her husband Zygmund in 1957; her sons Bernard, Leonard and Edward; her parents; and 6 siblings. She is survived by daughter Margaret Kujawa; daughters-in-law, Elaine Kujawa and Phyllis Kujawa; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
   Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2-8:00p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy.   A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 10:30a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, where family and friends may visit after 10:00a.m.   Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Memorial tributes may be directed to St. Joan of Arc Parish.   The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff, especially Julie, at Spring Meadows Extended Care for their compassionate care and support.

My heart aches and holds you dear to me my memories of you will be filled with love smiles hugs and laughter go rest high on that mountain your pain has ended and all the loved ones who have gone before you are joyfully greeting you I`m with sympathy for all my family.

Precious memories forever! Always hard & sad to let go but know she lived a long & good life. Now at heavenly peace!
