God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered "Come to Me". You did not deserve what you went through, and so God gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best, and when we saw you sleeping, so peaceful, free from pain, we couldn't wish you back, to suffer that again. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. For a part of us went with you, the day God took you home. We love you so much Uncle Rich....Love Dawn

What a kind man Rich was. I had been at the post office 22 yrs when I was in a bad car accident and could not ever return to work. I was in the process of trying to get better and return to work which eventually led to me having to retire early. In that time Rich had been so kind to donate about 180 hours of his annual leave to me, which helped very much to keep my health insurance covered while I was trying to make the transition.
I remember he always was smiling and always had a positive attitude, he always talked about his love of his life his wife. I did thank him personally,
I just wanted his family to know what a very special thing he did for me and how much I appreciated it.....He truly was a very generous man. I am sorry for your loss, but glad he is not in pain anymore and I am sure he is
in a much better place.
