Lillian Kwiatkowski, age 95, of Toledo, left her earthly home to go with Jesus, her family, and friends after many wonderful years and a brief illness. Born January 12, 1919 to Walter and Mary (Kadlubowski) Zacharewicz she began a long and fun filled life. She served her husband and sons well!
Lillian was preceded to the Kingdom by her husband Melvin and son Gerard, her parents, brother Walter, and sisters Rose, Adeline, Florence, Mary, and Helen along with special Uncle John Kadlubowski. Surviving are sons Melvin (Paulette) and James (Suzanne), grandchildren Angela, Kristen, Andy, Michael, Steven, Brian and Allison along with twelve great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Jack and Michelle, Janice and Harold and Paul Rothermilch. Our mother greatly treasured your many regular visits!
Our thanks to the kind staff of Orchard Villa that recently cared for Lillian. We have a great appreciation for the special people of Hospice of Northwest Ohio who made the final portion of Lillian’s journey easier and comforting. It was a blessing to have you along-side in her final days.
Lillian and Melvin taught their sons well and raised them in the Christian faith. Lillian, however, was not really sure about Heaven or Hell as a final reward because “nobody ever comes back to tell you it is real!” As she was leaving Lillian did see Jesus and she said to HIM “Jesus take me with YOU!” All of her doubts were finally laid to rest! Yea GOD!!!
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Memorial tributes are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Our sympathy to Mel and Paulette; Jim and Sue and all the grandchildren on the death of their mother/grandmother. All of us have questions about the alleged afterlife. In today's gospel Jesus tells Thomas,"Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed." If Lillian saw Jesus that should be good enough for the rest of us.

Our heartfelt sympathy to the whole Kwiatkowski Family, especially Mel and Jim. The day we found out of your mom's passing was a sad one for us but, as we know, time heals. I feel much better now knowing she is with Uncle Melvin. They were both always very good to me and I will never forget that. Your mom always had so much energy and her humor was second to none. We'll never forget all the times she made Michele and I laugh over old family stories. She was truly a family treasure. We feel very lucky to have seen her just before her time had arrived. Always in our thoughts, prayers and memories. All Our Love, Jack & Michele Sijan

Our sympathy to the whole family on the passing of your Mom. You picked a great photo to honor her, as her smiling face reminded me of her sense of humor and joy. Growing up I could always count on her for a 7-Up and a funny story. It is fitting that her last story is the most marvelous. She will be missed, but I hope that the entire family finds comfort knowing she is with Uncle Melvin and all her friends & relatives.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
