Ronald A. Rosinski passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice after a long illness.  Ronald was born to Aloysius and Ann (Dymek) Rosinski on September 15, 1934 in Toledo. After graduation from Macomber High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was sent to Korea where he served as a guard at the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea.  Ronald worked for General Motors for 32 years in the heat treat department as an inspector, retiring in 1988.  Ron was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church and served as an usher in recent years.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, and followed the Detroit Tigers and Lions.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and son Jeffrey. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Marlene (Mierzwiak); daughter Linda (Marc) Smith; son Steven (Kelly Mettler); grandsons Bradley, Matthew, David and Brian; sister, Carol (Michael) Konczal; nephew James (Gina) Konczal; extended family and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 3-8p.m. with scripture services at 7:00p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy.  The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 10:00a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church where friends may visit after 9:30a.m.. Interment with military honors by the Lucas County Burial Corp will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Hyacinth Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
