John Phillips Jr., 48, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 13, 2014.  He was born on November 8, 1965 to John Sr. and Kathleen (Yates) Phillips.  John worked for Autoneum on Wynn Rd. He was an avid fan of the University of Michigan and the Chicago Bears, and cherished the time he spent with is family especially his grandchildren.  
John was preceded in death by his parents.  He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 29 years, Joanne (Porter); sister, Sharon (James) Miller; children, Brandi, Christie and Timothy (Paige); grandchildren Kaysee, Riley, Jason, Jeremy and Jadyn; nieces Ashley and Michelle; great niece Jamie; great nephews, Joey and Jess; and special cousin Angel (Carl).  John will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.  
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 1:00p.m. until the time of funeral services at 7:00p.m at the W.K. Sujkowski and Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Dear Lord please help our family through this very hard time we love you John G. more than words can say theres already a huge hole in our hearts I will always cherish our memories and the father figure you were to me you may have been my cousin but I know you truly loved me like a child R.I.H. until we meet again

for those who knew and loved my brother, tomorrow would have been his birthday its hard to believe he's gone i miss him. just to hear a joke or a simple i love you would be great. Ipray for my family to one day heal, in the mean time remember the laughs the good times but most of all remember the love.. He would of wished that for all of us. happy birtday johnny i love you
