Thomas F. Lawicki, age 89, of Holland, passed away on January 29, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH.  He was born on September 17, 1925 to Michael and Jessie Lawicki.  Thomas proudly served his country during World War II in the Marine Corps and during the Korean Conflict.  He also was in the Marine Corps Reserves.  Thomas was a member of the C.W.V. Logsdon-Walla Post 639 and the Marine Corp League, Lou Diamond Detachment, and Devil Dogs. He worked at Bostwick-Braun Company, retiring after 42 years as a salesman.  In retirement years Thomas spent his winter months in Florida and also traveled the United States.  
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas M. Lawicki; and siblings, Edwin, Arthur, Robert Lawicki and Dorothy Stanford.  He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Eleanor (Zawacki); children, Kathleen Lawicki, Richard (Yvonne) Lawicki and Paul Lawicki; grandchildren, Melissa, Brittany, Jacob, Jessica and Sarah;  great grandchildren Caleb and Reagan.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 4-8p.m. with C.W.V. Post 639 services at 6:00p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11:00a.m, Deacon Rob Beisser officiating.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Sorry for your loss of a wonderful father, Kathy. Mr. T. Lawicki was a good provider for the family, traveling to see you, his daughter and family in New Mexico over the years. Many good memories of a loving family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
