Music by The Piano Brothers

A beautiful flower was picked from this earth July 23, 2015.
Rose (Fall) Glanzman was born April 29, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio. She was one of fourteen children born to George and Marcella (Miller) Fall. It was her childhood that made her the kind, loving, creative, musically talented, and strong willed woman that she was.
Rose married the love of her life, Harold Glanzman, on October 21, 1950. Together, Rose and Harold taught their five children the value of family and friends and to respect and love one another.
Along with being a great cook, hairdresser, and sometime nurse, Rose was fearless when it came to taking on building projects and crafted some very useful furniture. Her love of music touched every area of her life – home, church, and the Adams Township Post 553 American Legion Auxiliary of which she was an active member for 47 years. She was a self taught pianist and everyone enjoyed it when “Rosie” was tickling the ivories. She played at numerous events and ceremonies all over the state of Ohio for the American Legion Auxiliary.
Rose was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and her faith carried her through everything in her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jean (Jim) Spencer, Kathy (Lew) Smith, Ruth (John Kurfess) Glanzman, Robert, and Becky (Rob) Petree; grandchildren Laura (Timothy) Allen, Allen (Kristin) Spencer, Ryan (Katie) Wagner and Sarah (Steve LaCourse) Wagner; great grandchildren Harold, Elliot, and Everly; siblings Catherine (Teeny), Chuck, Ray, Mary, Jerry, and Dorie; sister-in-law and best pal Marge Fall; and many nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and siblings Fran, Vince, Betty, John, Joe, Barb, and Dick.
Rose’s family wishes to thank and express appreciation to the many loving health care professionals that cared for her over the past 16 months.
Family and friends may visit Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the W. K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. where Adams Twp. Post #553 and 8/40 services will be held at 7 p.m. followed by recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin with prayers at the Mortuary on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family prefers memorial tributes be made to the We Build Capital Campaign at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
